Assistant Secretary of Labor, Kathy Martinez – Keynote speaker at EmploymentLINK 2013

SAN FRANCISCO, California (April 10, 2013) – EmploymentLINK is proud to announce Kathy Martinez this year’s Keynote speaker. Kathy Martinez is the head of US department of Labor’s office of Disability and employment policy (ODEP). She was nominated by president Obama and confirmed by the Senate in 2009 . Ms. Martinez advises the Secretary of Labor and works with all DOL agencies to lead a comprehensive and coordinated national policy regarding the employment of people with disabilities.

At EmploymentLINK you will hear from Ms. Martinez about the US Labor department’s vision for people with disabilities including policies and practices affecting an increase in the employment and job retention of people with disabilities.

Intuit together with Valdosta Georgia Accident Lawyers will be speaking about their project to make QuickBooks accessible and the impact this will have on the disabled community.
