Lesley Ann Gibbons
Co-Owner and Founder, she has worked alongside Mark since they were married in 1992. Lesley is the COO, or “Chief of Other Stuff No One Wants to Take Care Of", and provides a inside sales support role to both Mark and John. In addition to her role at Sterling Adaptive she also serves on the Earle Baum Center Board, and was a governor-appointed member and Past Chair of the California State Rehabilitation Council from 2014 to 2020. When not taking care of the "stuff" Lesley Ann can usually be found FaceTiming with their granddaughter or teaching herself woodworking in the garage.

Mark Gibbons
Co-Owner and Founder, has over 35 years of experience in the Assistive Technology field. Mark's main role is over seeing computer setups, ergonomic installations and just being awesome in every way. Outside of work Mark enjoys playing golf and traveling. Mark loves the challenge of finding solutions to people's needs and all the technical side of things. Mark is inspired to ensure our customers have the best service and honest response to our consumers needs.

Monique Larre
Administrative Director / Technical Lead, joined Sterling Adaptives in 2015. As a full time mom she was looking to re-enter the workforce on a part-time basis, Sterling quickly nipped that idea in the bud and she’s been full-time ever since. Monique splits her days between the general running of the office and showroom, overseeing the bookkeeping including accounts payable and accounts receivables, marketing, and website administration. She provides pre-system accessible technology configuration for PC, Mac, tablets and remote technical support for end user computer systems, email, software, printer, and other peripherals.

John Taylor
Products Specialist, focusing on all things technology related to Braille and Low Vision for education in Northern California. John joined the Sterling Adaptives team in August of 2019 but came bringing ten years of experience in the assistive technology industry. John got his start with Assistive technology, working with Braille embossers and tactile graphics at ViewPlus Technologies and Irie-AT, where he focused on being a national trainer on braille embossers and tactile graphics, and low vision products. In John's free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and newborn son, helping others, and when he has the time, he can usually be found camping or fishing. When asked what motivates and inspires you, John says that more than anything, it's the people that he gets to rub shoulders with each day. He says, " At the end of the day, I feel like I did some good, and made a difference in someone's life.”

Sarah Phillips
Account Administrator, supports Lesley and the team with quotes, purchasing, website updates, unpacking boxes and anything else she can help with. Sarah was born and raised in Sonoma County, and currently resides in Healdsburg. She has a background in Purchasing and is an SRJC graduate in Graphic Design, but is always in the pursuit of expanding her knowledge and skill sets. Her interests include making arts and crafts, Harry Potter marathons, 80's movies, hiking through nature and scenic drives. She has mastered the art of patience (most days), as her brother has some mental disabilities that have posed both a challenge and blessing in her life. Helping her mom from a young age forced her to grow up quickly and learn what it truly means to work hard, have patience and be empathetic to those around us.

Macayla Sedeno
Administrative Assistant, is responsible for filing, data entry, and accounting assistance. She has worked with the company since 2018. Macayla is also a full time student pursuing a career as an ASL interpreter. Outside of work, she loves to spend time with her family and her dog Tilly. Macayla is inspired to learn from the others on the team and help wherever she is needed.

Tetley
Chief Pawfficer, handles the regulation of naps and treats for the team. He has been with the company for 8 years. Prior to that, he spent 6 years as merely a family pet. In his spare time, Tetley enjoys sleeping and sniffing other dogs. He believes that dogs were put on the Earth to provide their humans with unconditional love. Tetley is obsessed with making sure the mailman feels appreciated for bringing in the mail.

Tilly
Barketing Director, is the newest member of our team. Tilly joined us in 2021. In her spare time she enjoys cuddling on the couch, playing with her toys, and playtime with her best friend Tetley. When Tilly is not working she is enrolled in puppy kindergarten and hopes to graduate soon with honors.
