The patented braille technology uses air to drive braille pins, making this braille display more cost effective without sacrificing the braille feel and performance you have come to expect.

4 Lines of Braille
With 4 lines of 32 braille characters, Codex offers a total of 128 characters, helping you read faster and with less interruption. The lines of braille are optimally spaced so that you can easily identify the braille cursor and intuitively move from one line to the next.
Intuitive Navigation
Navigating the internal applications and content from your computer feels intuitive and natural. Use the navigation keys to advance by one line or all four lines, use first letter navigation to jump directly to an item in a list, and use hotkeys to launch applications or perform actions.
10-point Touchpad
Using an integrated 10-point touchpad, Codex supports cursor routing with a double-tap gesture without having to remove any other fingers from the braille surface.
Screen Reader Compatible
Codex was designed from the beginning to work with screen readers and currently supports JAWS. Support for additional screen readers is coming soon.
Braille Feel
These braille dots feel crisp and firm without being harsh on your fingers. Reading for hours will be comfortable for beginners and the more experienced alike.
Braille Spacing
The advances in microfluidics provides braille dot, cell, and line spacing that offers a seamless reading experience.
Braille Under Pressure
Using air pressure means that braille dots refresh under your fingers, letting you use your braille display without interruption.
