My Board Buddy allows a student or professional to view a smartboard or presentation on a tablet or monitor at their desk. The content from the smartboard/presentation is duplicated on their individual screen so they can adjust magnification, color contrast and brightness independently without affecting the image on the smartboard. My Board Buddy will display text, photos, videos, live notes and more – all in real time with minimal delay so everyone has access to the same information at the same time. Better yet, the device is wireless so low vision users can sit anywhere in the room!
Multiple versions
My Board Buddy comes in 2 different versions – my Board Buddy GO and my Board Buddy AIR.
My Board Buddy GO is a portable solution where the user connects to a tablet using a free app and uses the touchscreen icons to navigate. This is great for users who frequently change locations. Install the transmitter in each classroom and students can move from room to room with only a tablet.
My Board Buddy AIR combines the features of the GO but also adds the option to connect it to a stand-alone monitor. This option is great for fixed environments where you can always leave the monitor setup but also gives you the flexibility to use the tablet solution for additional users. It’s also great for younger students who are less familiar with a computer and prefer to use the intuitive remote control.
