On Friday, August 12th, Sterling Adaptives, a leading provider of low vision solutions, will host a FREE OrCam Demo Day at the Earle Baum Center for the Blind - one of the most recognized community centers serving the blind and visually impaired in Northern California. The national and regional sales team from OrCam will be joining us!
When: Friday, August 12th, 1 pm – 3 pm
Where: Earle Baum Center of the Blind, 4539 Occidental Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95401
The OrCam MyEye PRO is a small, discreet wearable that uses artificial intelligence to help blind or low vision users identify text, recognize faces, distinguish colors and currency, and identify products.
The OrCam Read Smart is a handheld reading pen that instantly reads aloud any printed or digital text, capturing full pages with the press of a button.
What to expect
The event will begin with a live demo led by Sterling Adaptives’ technology specialist John Taylor. Following the demo, attendees will have the opportunity to experience the technology firsthand by trying out the devices. Our experts will be available to answer all your questions and help determine if OrCam can help you or your loved one gain greater independence.
We’ll ensure you’re well hydrated with refreshments; and just to keep you on your toes, we’ll be handing out a variety of door prizes!
